OnePlus Nord N10 5G specs leak, coming to US for under $400

OnePlus teased earlier this year that a different version of the Nord would be coming to the US in 2020, and today we’re getting our first details of what that device will be.

The OnePlus Nord N10 5G is the name of the new device that’s arriving stateside later this year. The folks at Android Central say that its codename is “Billie”, a name we heard earlier this year associated with a device powered by the Snapdragon 690.

Today’s report says that, yes, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G will include a Snapdragon 690 processor as well as 5G connectivity. There’s said to be 6GB of RAM in there, too, along with 128GB of storage.

The display on the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is said to be a 6.49-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. A quad camera setup is said to be on the backside of the device, which will include a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and two other 2MP sensors.

Finally, this OnePlus Nord N10 5G is expected to cost under $400, which would make it less than the regular Nord. OnePlus is also reportedly prepping another phone that’ll be under $200, but there are no other details on that model right now.

One detail that’s still missing is the OnePlus Nord N10 5G’s release date. But with the OnePlus 8T expected to launch in late September or early October, we could see this Nord variant announced around that same time to offer a more affordable option to folks interested in a new OnePlus phone.

Many folks in the US are disappointed that the OnePlus Nord won’t be sold in the US, but this upcoming Nord N10 5G model sounds like it could be a solid substitute. The Snapdragon 690 is the first Snapdragon 600-series chip with 5G support (it supports sub-6GHz 5G), and it offers up to 20% faster CPU performance and up to 60% faster graphics rendering over the Snapdragon 675. The Nord N10 5G will also be the first OnePlus phone with a 64MP camera.
